Empowering AAPI Women: A Celebration of Heritage and Health

A Vibrant Tribute to Women’s Achievements

In honor of Women’s History Month, the NYPD hosted the “AAPI Women Empowerment Celebration” yesterday, marking a significant event dedicated to recognizing the achievements and contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) women. The celebration was highlighted by the vibrant performances of KCS’ senior dance team, which added a cultural richness to the event, celebrating the artistic heritage of AAPI women.

Encouraging Open Conversations

Beyond the performances, the event served as a platform to showcase KCS’s Public Health and Mental Health resources. This initiative underscores our commitment to supporting the well-being of women through accessible health services and information. The “AAPI Women Empowerment Celebration” stands as a beautiful collaboration between NYPD and KCS, aimed at honoring and empowering women by acknowledging their vital contributions to our community and ensuring their access to health and wellness resources.
