KCS Annual Golf Classic
The Golf Classic will be at North Hills Country Club, an esteemed and beautiful location worth experiencing. This fundraiser will help the KCS headquarters and older adult center. Since establishing our Bayside headquarters in 2017, Korean Community Services (KCS) has focused on integrating a vital Senior Center. This center aims to provide daily meals to nearly 500 seniors, demonstrating our commitment to care and community inclusion. Our path to realizing this vision has faced numerous challenges, including complex bureaucratic processes required by government funding and delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these challenges, we are poised to break ground on July 1st, 2024, marking a significant milestone.
As we approach this new chapter, the need for financial support becomes more pressing. We require at least $400,000 to begin construction. The upcoming KCS 2024 Golf Classic offers a perfect opportunity for community support, directly aiding the construction of the Senior Center and helping KCS serve not only the Korean community but also all Asian immigrants, promoting a more inclusive environment.
