Korean & English Bilingual Database Manager

Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York, Inc. is looking for a skilled
and experienced Database Manager responsible for supporting the design, maintenance, and
performance of KCS’ database, Apricot 360. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database architecture, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to optimize database performance. The role also includes supervising programmatic projects and activities, developing, implementing, and managing specific programs, preparing program guidelines, and evaluating program implementation and data of individuals and teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring our databases’ security, integrity, and availability.

Case Manager

Case Management services help older persons with functional impairments gain access to
appropriate services, benefits, and entitlements needed to age safely at home and maintain their
quality of life. Case Managers do so by developing trusting relationships with the clients and their caregivers and engaging them in a collaborative process of problem-solving.

HDML (Home Delivered Meals) Coordinator/Smartphone Class Instructor

Under the general supervision of the Sr. Director of OAC, The HDML Program Coordinator will manage and oversee day-to-day aspects of the contracted HDML Programs. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, he or she will lead smartphone and CPU classes for clients at the Corona Older Adult Center.

This individual will play a crucial role in conducting community outreach, client support, and program coordination within the Long Island City (LIC) area and Manhattan/Chinatown. This role requires up to 20 hours per week, with a starting hourly rate of $18.

Workforce Senior Program Coordinator

The Workforce Senior Program Coordinator will help plan, develop, and implement various aspects of the KCS Workforce Program in its mission to serve the community. The Senior Program Coordinator will ensure that all of the Workforce Program’s operations run smoothly and efficiently while minimizing inefficiencies in
services. He/she will also ensure that all operations and projects proceed according to set goals and regulations, including achieving annual performance measures set forth by funders and grant organizations. Preference will be given to those who have a background in grant writing or are interested in grant research/writing.
