Spring Echoes in New York: A Celebration of Community and Culture

A Springtime Musical Journey

On March 16th, KCS Public Health Research Center hosted the “Nostalgia Spring Concert: Spring of My Hometown in New York” at the KCS Bayside. This event, a thoughtful collaboration with the Sharing Harmony Orchestra, brought to life a concert under the theme “Engage All Senses: See, Listen, and Sing Along.” It was an invitation for attendees to connect with the music on a deeper level, celebrating the arrival of spring through songs that remind us of home.

Bringing Families Together

The concert provided a space for families to gather and share in the joy of music, surrounded by the fresh spirit of spring. It’s events like these that strengthen our community, drawing us closer through shared cultural experiences. Support from the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families (CACF) played a key role in bringing this event to life, underscoring the power of partnership in enriching our community. Through music, we not only reminisce about the past but also look forward to the new beginnings that spring represents.
