KCS Celebrates a Successful First Street Fair

A Day to Remember on Springfield Boulevard

At a recent event hosted by the KA Society of Connecticut, the Public Health Research Center (PHRC) provided vital viral hepatitis B testing and dementia screening. These screenings are integral to early detection and effective management of health, playing a key role in preventing the progression of these conditions. By identifying potential health issues early, individuals can take appropriate steps towards treatment and management, enhancing overall well-being.

Highlights from the Fair

The fair featured live performances that captivated both young and old, providing entertainment throughout the day. Beyond the fun, it served as a valuable resource hub. Visitors accessed important health and insurance information, resources for small business owners, and community support services. Stalls with fantastic merchandise and delicious food from local vendors enhanced the festive mood. Children enjoyed a blast in the bounce house, received free goody bags, and participated in raffle drawings with exciting prizes.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this event spectacular—we couldn’t have done it without your hard work and enthusiasm. We look forward to seeing you at future events for more festivities and community building! Click—>Highlight Video
